My husband spent about 30 minutes putting it together with basic tools and he said it was not hard at all. It’s quite big and would be a very impressive Christmas gift for the kids.
Power Wheels Dune Racer literally caused the whole neighborhood to come out to take a look. The neighborhood kids ran up when they saw it in the back of the truck (after it had been assembled). They went nuts! Although we did keep the bigger kids out of it. My nephew had a blast driving his little brother around in it and it was a huge hit with all of the parents too. Everyone was fighting over taking a turn on it from the toddlers to the 10 year olds! The general consens was, “So Cool!”.
Overall, I’m very impressed with Power Wheels Dune Racer.

If you are looking for a fun, BIG gift for your child aged primarily I would say 4-8 years old, you will NOT be disappointed. Fisher Price has been making quality items for a long, long time, and they do so here as well.
My 6 year old daughter absolutely LOVES this Power Wheels Dune Racer!!! This took a few hours to put together, but since I was really taking my time, I bet it could be done start to finish in under 90 minutes. You should see the wide smile on her face driving this and enjoying all it has to offer. I can’t really complain about this ‘toy’ at all. Power Wheels Dune Racer is very sturdy, it goes off-road as described, it’s comfortable, sporty looking, and goes plenty fast for any young kids that want to enjoy it.
